I had a mostly wonderful time at Altis Belem Hotel & Spa. The stunning views of the Tagus River from my room and the comfortable bedding made my stay really good. However, the spa area had some facilities not working properly, and the noise from the pool area during my visit was distracting. Still, the welcoming staff and delicious breakfast definitely made up for these minor issues. 😊

My room was beautifully modern, featuring a king-size bed with incredibly soft pillows. The stunning view of the docks enhanced my experience greatly.

The spa offered a lovely atmosphere and wellness treatments, although some areas were not functioning properly during my visit. The rooftop plunge pool was a nice touch, though it was quite busy with families.

I enjoyed my stay at Altis Belem Hotel & Spa, appreciating the stunning views of the Tagus River and the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options. However, the spa facilities could benefit from some refurbishments, and the attention to detail in housekeeping fell short at times. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its location and comfort. 😊

Rooms

The room I stayed in was spacious and had amazing views of the river. However, I noticed some cleanliness issues, like a clogged sink, which detracted from my overall experience.
Service

The staff were mostly friendly and accommodating, but I found that the front desk was not very responsive to my requests, especially regarding my status as a frequent traveler.
Location

The hotel's location in Belem is fantastic, just a short distance from historical landmarks and the waterfront. It's a perfect spot for leisurely walks along the River Tagus.
Dining
9.0
The breakfast at the restaurant was really good, and I loved being able to dine outdoors by the marina. The variety of food offered throughout the day was also impressive.
Facilities

While the spa had a calming atmosphere, it is outdated and needs improvements. The rooftop pool area was pleasant but a bit small for relaxation.

I had a fantastic stay at Altis Belém Hotel & Spa. The stunning views of the Tagus River from my room made every moment special, while the perfect service from the staff truly elevated my experience. Although the rooftop pool was a bit crowded and didn’t feel very exclusive, my overall impression of the hotel was overwhelmingly positive, especially with the really good quality of food at the Michelin-starred restaurant and the lovely spa amenities.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious and beautifully designed, offering amazing views of the marina. However, the lighting system was a bit overly complicated, which made it a challenge to use at times.

The staff's friendliness and professionalism were amazing. They ensured that all my needs were met, and even helped resolve a booking mistake swiftly and effectively.

The spa and wellness options were impressive, providing a serene atmosphere. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to indulge in any treatments myself, but I heard good things from others.

I had a mixed experience at Altis Belem Hotel & Spa. On one hand, the stylish decor and very nice views of the Tagus River created a luxurious ambience. On the other hand, I faced some issues with room maintenance and the staff's responsiveness to my requests. While I enjoyed the spa and the proximity to cultural sites in Belem, the overall service did leave something to be desired.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and had a lovely view over the marina. The decor was modern but some areas felt like they needed a bit more attention. Despite this, I appreciated the comfort of the bedding and the amenities provided.
Service
7.0
Though there were moments of attentive service, I had a couple of misunderstandings where the staff didn't provide the information I needed promptly. However, I did meet staff who were eager to help, especially during a room change I had to request.
Location
7.0
The location in Belem was great for exploring the area and the nearby cultural sites, but it felt detached from the city center. I needed transportation to access many of Lisbon's attractions, which was a bit inconvenient.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast spread, although it could be more varied. The Michelin-starred restaurant sounded impressive, but I didn't get to try it. I had a few drinks at the bar, enjoying the river view.
Facilities
8.0
The spa facilities were relaxing, and I loved the rooftop terrace, despite the pool being a little chilly. Overall, the amenities met my expectations for a boutique hotel experience.

My stay at Altis Belem Hotel & Spa was truly enjoyable. The modern architecture and spacious, clean rooms provided an excellent backdrop for relaxation, complemented by stunning views of the Tagus River. However, the limited gluten-free options during breakfast could use some improvement.

Rooms
10.0
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and design of my room, which included a large window that offered amazing views of the water. With comfortable bedding and a clean ambiance, it made for a cozy retreat.
Service
10.0
The staff was incredibly professional and accommodating throughout my visit. From check-in to turn-down service, their friendliness made a lasting impression. They even went above and beyond when I forgot my camera, arranging for it to be delivered to me at the airport.
Location
8.0
While the hotel is a bit out of the city center, it was a perfect spot for a chill getaway. With quick access to taxis and public transport, I could easily explore Lisbon.
Dining
8.0
I truly enjoyed the breakfast spread, especially the range of items to choose from. However, the gluten-free options felt somewhat lacking. The Michelin-starred restaurant on-site, Feitoria, was a highlight but required reservations in advance.
Facilities
9.0
The spa was serene and offered great treatments that contributed to my relaxation. Though the fitness facility could be expanded, it was still a nice touch to have a space for workouts.
